Triathlon Ireland is raising money to help Ukrainian athletes and coaches stay in the sport while war grips their country.

More than 60 Ukrainian athletes, coaches and direct relatives have left or have been unable to return to Ukraine, with most currently in Turkey where they are receiving support from the Turkish Triathlon Federation.

However, further assistance will be required for the athletes to remain there and for them to be able to continue training and start racing this season.

With this in mind, Europe Triathlon has set up a ring-fenced fund that will be used to support the Ukrainian Triathlon Federation.

Triathlon Ireland is raising money to go in to this fund through our GoFundMe page. .

All donations will be directly sent to a registered bank account set up by Europe Triathlon and Triathlon Ireland will match the donations from our members up to a €5,000 limit.
